I’ve always been drawn to understanding people’s stories and the experiences that shape who they become. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an MSW from Rutgers University, I support young adults and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions, particularly those influenced by cultural and family dynamics. I work collaboratively with clients to explore how past experiences affect the present while building practical coping skills, confidence, and healthier patterns. My approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS), alongside trauma-informed work. I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space tailored to your needs. My lived experience with chronic medical conditions also informs the empathy I bring to clients managing health-related stress, although chronic illness is not an area in which I have formal specialty training. I offer virtual sessions, accept a range of insurance plans, including BCBS, and have immediate openings.
